A sweet little two-toned punch cup, perfect for cocoa or hot buttered rum. The lines from throwing are left discernible in the top half, forming tactile ridges from the making process. During firing, the glaze breaks over the ridges, accentuating them. The bottom half is burnished smooth and carved, the clay left unglazed, the incised decoration inlaid with white slip.
Glazed in ruby red on the exterior, alabaster on the inside.
