A replica of an early Viking Age trefoil brooch found in Norway, Birka and Uppäkara, Sweden. The Vikings copied the style from Carolingian sword belt fittings when they sacked Paris in 845 AD. Ideal for securing woven or knit fabrics, sweaters, cloaks and shawls.
