Designed for large, dramatic blooms, the exterior of this vase features raw chocolate brown clay. The geometric pattern, inspired by the lateen sails of Portugal’s caravel ships, is incised and filled with white slip. Glazed in deep lapis on the interior. The belly of the vase measures 6.5 inches.
